Subject: Rollout of ‘Source from India’ on Trade Connect ePlatform for all Status Holders– reg.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is to inform you that The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched a website called Trade Connect (www.trade.gov.in) to provide all information and services related to international trade. This platform connects exporters, government departments (like DGFT, Department of Commerce), Export Promotion Councils, Indian Embassies abroad, EXIM Bank, etc., all in one place.
One important feature on this website is ‘Source from India’. This feature is designed to help international buyers find Indian exporters easily.

Key Features of ‘Source from India’ on Trade Connect ePlatform:

1. Exporters can create their own micropages where they can provide their product details as well as the credentials of their entity.
   Micropages of the exporters are publicly made visible on 'Source from India' page of Trade Connect ePlatform- (https://www.trade.gov.in/pages/sourcefrom-india) once approved.
   To start with, Three-, Four- and Five-star Manufacturer exporters had been previously invited to create their 'Source from India' micropages on a pilot basis.
2. The Source from India micropage hosting service on Trade Connect ePlatform will be available to all Status Holder exporters (with valid IECs not in DEL). Further broad basing of availability of the service to other IEC holders will be done going forward and changes will be notified once implemented.
3. Indian Missions abroad have been informed to use the ‘Source from India’ platform as a reference when foreign buyers approach them for help in finding Indian suppliers for different products.
