Sub: Indian Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme

Dear Sir / Madam,

This has reference to the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Programme announced and administered by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).

 The Programme is implemented under the aegis of the World Customs Organization(WCO) with the objective of securing and facilitating global trade.

Although the AEO Programme is a voluntary compliance initiative, it offers several significant benefits to exporters and importers who are registered under it.
