The key takeaways of the report are as follows:

• Exports of Indian Man-made Fibre (MMF) Textiles reached US$ 4,490.61 Mn. during Apr – Dec 2025 as against exports of US$ 4,490.12 Mn. during Apr – Dec 2024, showing no significant growth in US dollar terms (0%). However, in INR the exports of MMF Textiles have grown by 4% during the same period.                                                                     
• Exports of Man-made Fibre (MMF) Textiles from India stood at US$ 540.60 Mn. in Dec 2025 as against exports of US$ 516.55 Mn. in Dec 2024, registering a growth of 5% in US dollar terms. However, in INR terms, exports recorded a higher growth of 11% during the same period.

Man-made Fibres Exports

• Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) was the largest exported Man-made Fibre from India representing 56% share of the India’s Man-made Fibre exports, followed by Viscose Staple Fibre (VSF) having 34% share during Apr - Dec 2025.

MMF Filament Yarns / Spun Yarns Exports

• Polyester Filament Yarns (PFY) was the largest exported MMF Yarns from India representing 41% share of the India’s MMF Yarn’s exports, followed by Poly- Cotton (PC) Spun Yarn (14%) and Viscose Spun Yarn (7%) during Apr - Dec 2025.

MMF Fabrics Exports

• MMF Fabrics were the largest exported commodity, representing 37% of the exports share, followed by MMF Made-ups 35% during Apr - Dec 2025.                                                    
• PFY Woven Fabrics was the largest exported MMF Fabrics from India, representing 24% of the MMF Fabric's exports share, followed by PV Fabrics (15%), Nonwovens (9%) and Weft Knitted Fabrics (8%) during Apr - Dec 2025.

Leading Markets

• USA was the leading market for Indian MMF Textiles during Apr - Dec 2025, accounting for 15% share of Indian MMF Textiles exports, followed by UAE (7%), Bangladesh (5%), and Turkey (4%).

Emerging Markets

• Netherlands, Vietnam, Nigeria, Kuwait, Oman, Senegal, and Togo were the emerging markets for Indian MMF Textiles during Apr - Dec 2025 as compared to Apr - Dec 2024.
