Sub: Rationalisation of RoDTEP Rates

Dear Sir/Madam,

The RoDTEP rates for all HS lines have been reduced to 50% of the existing rates and 50% of the notified value caps, vide Notification No. 60/2025-26 dated 23rd February 2026 issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. A copy of the Notification is enclosed herewith (Click to Download).

The Council recognises the implications and potential impact of this reduction and will be taking up the matter with the Government for reinstatement of the existing rates and value caps till the revised rates are notified after completion of the ongoing data-based review by the RoDTEP Committee.

In the meanwhile, members are requested to kindly send their comments/inputs on this reduction, specifically highlighting the likely impact on their exports.
