Sub: India–USA Trade Facilitation Portal – Direct Market Access and Export opportunity to USA – Reg


Dear Sir / Madam,

The NAFTA Division, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry along with Missions in the United States, have launched an India–USA B2B Trade Facilitation Portal. The objective of the B2B digital platform is to strengthen India–USA bilateral trade and improve market access for Indian exporters in the U.S. The portal was officially inaugurated on April 8, 2026, and the registration process for exporters is currently open.

The portal is designed to serve as a direct interface between Indian exporters and verified U.S. importers, enabling seamless business engagement without reliance on intermediaries.

Key Features:

  • Facilitates seamless, direct interaction between Indian exporters and verified U.S. buyers through a dedicated B2B module.
  • Provides targeted tools designed to streamline the entry of medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) into the U.S. market.
  • The portal features a Virtual Exhibition module, providing a digital platform for Indian manufacturers to showcase their products to international buyers.
  • Provides visibility on demand across various sectors including textiles and manufacturing.

Objectives of the Portal:

  • Facilitate broader international market access and strengthen direct export frameworks.
  • Streamline transaction processes to maximize profit margins for domestic exporters.
  • Leverage real time data to monitor and analyse U.S. market trends and consumer demand.

Registration:

Exporters need to register on the portal to avail the benefits.

Registration Procedure as follows:

  1. Registration link to India USA Trade Facilitation portal: 

    https://indiausatrade.mea.gov.in/register

  2. Enter your IEC code and upload the IEC certificate, the system auto validates it instantly.
  3. Add your business details. Choose the Goods being exported.
  4. Select name of the Association and upload the membership certificate.
  5. Upload your business documents GST, PAN and Certificate of incorporation. You can also add additional documents.
  6. Add authorized person details and the Aadhaar, the system auto verifies the Aadhaar.
  7. Set the password. Verify your email and mobile number, then submit your profile for approval.
  8. The respective institution will verify the membership and approve the registration.
  9. Once approved, you receive a confirmation email with a set of recovery codes.
  10. Log into the portal with two step authentication.

We are hereby advised to all members to register on the India–USA Trade Facilitation Portal to enhance their global visibility.
