Sub: Request Inputs on Value-Addition percentage in Rules of Origin for Technical Textiles

Dear Sir / Madam,

As you are aware, under the FTAs the member countries are required to do necessary value additions on imported raw materials to comply with the Rules of Origin criterion and to avail the FTA tariff concessions and benefits.

In this connection, the Ministry of Textiles has sent a value addition template of 30 Tariff Lines seeking inputs of the Council on their value addition percentage.

We request your valuable input as to what would be the appropriate value addition percentage on the 30 Tariff Lines.
