We are glad to inform you that the Council is organizing participation of Indian companies at the 22ndInternational Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkey scheduled to be held from 26th to 28th March 2026.  

About International Istanbul Yarn Fair:

The International Istanbul Yarn Fair, recognized as the biggest yarn fair in the world, successfully attracted 16,921 visitors from 78 countries, achieving a record-high attendance. The event featured 546 exhibitors representing 18 countries. The fair, distinguished by its substantial attendance, provided an exceptional platform for brands that shape the textile industry to present their latest yarn innovations and sustainable solutions. By showcasing cutting-edge products, the fair also served as a vital hub for professionals seeking to enhance their business networks.

Booth Allocation:

The booth space will be allocated to the companies that submit the complete application form along with the full payment on first-cum-first serve basis.

Report on the previous edition of Istanbul Yarn Fair in 2025:

1.  The 21stInternational Istanbul Yarn Fair held in Feb. 2025 and had a total participation of 546 exhibitor companies and company representatives from 18 countries and 16,921 professional visitors from 18 countries, total area was 50,000 sq.m.

2. Buyers from countries in Western Europe, North- South America, Latin America, West and Central Asia, Balkans & East Europe, Middle East, Caucasia, and Africa in addition to Turkey had visited the exhibition.

3. Visitor Satisfaction rate- 90% of visitors plan to visit the fair next year. 85% of the visitors recommended the fair to their business contacts. 95% of the visitors expressed very high level of satisfaction with the show.

 India’s Exports of Man-made Fibre Textiles to Turkey for the year 2024:

• Türkiye’s total global import of MMF textiles were around US$ 5 billion during 2024 in which India’s share is only 11%. There is substantial scope to further increase our exports to Türkiye.
• Yarn were the dominant products with nearly 79% share followed by fibre 17%, fabrics 3% and made-ups 1%.
• Major Indian MMF textiles being exported to Türkiye are Polyester Textured Yarn, Polyester filament yarn, Polyester Viscose yarn, Viscose Spun yarn, polyester viscose fabrics, Polyester Staple Fibre etc.
• Major suppliers of MMF Textiles to Türkiye are USA, UK, India, Belgium, Italy, Netherland, Egypt and Germany etc.
• There is tremendous scope to increase India’s exports to Türkiye and increase our market share.

  Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

  • Once the booth is allotted, withdrawal or no-show is not permitted, and the deposited amount will be forfeited.
  • No refund will be made in case of individual visa/travel issues.
  • A refund will only be processed if a national-level travel ban is imposed or the Council cancels its participation in the event.
