Sub: Request for Products exported to the United Kingdom

Dear Members,

As you are aware, the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) has been concluded in May 2025, and it is expected to come into force shortly. India – UK CETA, on implementation would eliminate duties on Indian textiles exports entering the UK market and significantly enhance bilateral trade and economic integration between the two countries.

In this context, the Government is taking stock of the list of exporters Textile products and their major exporters to enable shipments of identified goods from every state of India to the UK on the day of entry into force of the India – UK CETA.

Further, the Government has also sought input on any kind of challenges being faced by the exporters in the UK which will be flagged to the authorities for addressing suitably during forthcoming bilateral meetings.

REQUEST

In view of the above, Members of the Council who are exporting to the United Kingdom are requested to kindly share their export details in the enclosed format (Click to Download).

Additionally, if you face any kind of issues while exporting to the United Kingdom, it is requested to share the details of the same with us.
