Sub: State/UT Consultation Meeting on 5 May 2026 at 4:00 PM – Virtual Mode

Dear Sir / Madam,

As you are aware, the Government has fixed an export target of USD 100 billion by 2030 to be achieved by 2030.

As part of its Strategy and Action plan, Government has identified 100 districts that can play key roles in achieving this target.

These 100 districts are clusters for Man Made Fibre textiles and Technical Textiles.

Further, the Government has allocated each district to an Export promotional council.

In this regard, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is one of the districts that has been allocated to the MATEXIL.

The Council will be working closely with the Department of Industry (Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu).

A Consultative meeting with all members will be held to discuss the export action plan aimed at achieving the target of USD 100 billion.

This meeting will be attended by Senior officials from DIC, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1. India Export Vision 2030, which aims for a global export target of $100 Billion for the textile sector.
2. Develop the Strategy for achieving USD 100 Billion Exports by 2030.
3. Review of the hurdles faced by exporters in the Union Territory.
4. Reviewing the progress of State and District Export Action Plans (SEAP/DEAP) and the transition of MMF and Technical Textile units.
