Sub: Clarification on Eligibility of new ECGC Whole Turnover Policy under Component II of RELIEF Scheme


Dear Sir / Madam,

DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) has issued Policy Circular No. 01/2026-27 dated April 15, 2026, providing clarification on the eligibility of the new ECGC Whole Turnover Policy under Component II of the Resilience & Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation (RELIEF) Scheme under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM).

As per Notification No. 65/2025-26 dated March 19, 2026, the RELIEF Scheme was operationalized to provide support to exporters, particularly for consignments destined for delivery or transshipment to specified countries in the affected Gulf and West Asia region.

In this context, DGFT has clarified that exporters who obtain a new ECGC Whole Turnover Policy for the first time on or after March 16, 2026, shall also be eligible to avail benefits under Component II of the RELIEF Scheme.

All other provisions of the above-mentioned Notification remain unchanged.
