Sub: Request for inputs on challenges being faced by the exporters due to the prevailing geopolitical situation - reg

Dear Sir/ Madam,

In view of the ongoing geopolitical developments and the disruption of international shipping routes due to the ongoing West Asia conflict, the Government is in the process of assessing the impact on exports from India.

In this regard, the Council has received a communication from the Government seeking inputs on the specific challenges being faced by exporters, particularly with respect to logistics disruptions, increased freight costs, shipment delays, insurance issues, payment risks, or any other operational difficulties arising out of the disturbed trade routes.

Further, Government has also sought suggestions from the exporters as to what interventions would be required from the Government to address the prevailing export related challenges.
