As you are aware, DGFT has issued Trade Notice No. 20/2025-26 dated January 2, 2026, notifying the launch of the Interest Subvention Scheme for Pre- and Post-Shipment Export Credit under the Export Promotion Mission.

Under the Scheme, an Interest Subvention of 2.75% per annum is available on:

Pre-shipment Rupee Export Credit, and
Post-shipment Rupee Export Credit

For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The benefit of interest subvention is applicable only to products covered under the positive list of eligible HSN Codes at the six-digit level and will be extended through eligible commercial lending institutions. MSMEs are required to follow the prescribed online procedure to avail of the benefit.

In this connection, MATEXIL has received representations from some members regarding difficulties in availing the benefit, as certain banks have indicated that they are not fully aware of the Scheme and its modalities.

Request 

Members who are facing similar issues in obtaining the Interest Subvention from their banks are requested to kindly inform us, along with the name of the bank and branch where the account is maintained.
