Subject: Webinar on “Traceability Requirements for Exporters to avail benefits under FTAs with EU and UK”
Dear Sir / Madam,
As you are aware, India has entered into Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with 38 developed countries of which the European Union including UK is a major trading block having large market opportunities with Duty Free access for the Manmade Fibre (MMF) & Technical Textiles exports from India.
In order to effectively utilise the benefits available under these FTAs, product and supply-chain traceability, appropriate documentation and compliance, will be mandatory. Exporters will need to establish effective product traceability systems and maintain comprehensive records to demonstrate compliance with the applicable requirements and validate their eligibility for the benefits available under the FTAs.
In this context, to create awareness & prepare its members, MATEXIL will be organising a Webinar on “Traceability Requirements for Exporters to avail benefits under FTAs with EU and UK.”
