Subject: Request for Pre-Budget Proposals for FY 2027-28

Dear Sir / Madam,

 The Government has started its Annual Budget exercise of seeking inputs for formulation of the Union Budget 2027-28.

In this regard, the Council has received an Office Memorandum dated 27.07.2026 from the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry seeking suggestions in respect of the forthcoming Union Budget. Copy enclosed (Click to Download).

In view of the above, we would request you to send your inputs/ suggestions/ proposals in the prescribed format on or before 29th August, 2026 on email ID meryl@matexil.org 

We solicit your cooperation and valuable inputs at the earliest to send a consolidated reply to the Government.
